Remembering a friend through service.
On 31 August 2024, Heart to Heart Ghana Foundation made its inaugural Esther Anokye Memorial Donation at the Korle-Bu Stroke Ward. The donation was organised in memory of Esther Anokye, a friend whose passing remains deeply felt by those who knew and loved her.
The project reflects one of the foundation's simplest beliefs: care can become action. In Esther's memory, friends and volunteers chose to support a place where practical items can make daily care easier for patients, caregivers, and health workers.
What was donated
The donation focused on patient-care and ward-support items, including adult diapers, underpads, anti-decubitus air mattresses, and related care supplies. These items were selected because they respond to practical needs within a hospital-care setting.
Heart to Heart Ghana Foundation is grateful to the staff and representatives at the Korle-Bu Stroke Ward for receiving the team and helping the donation reach the right place with dignity.
