Dining with the Street is one of the foundation's most human project ideas. It starts with food, but it is also about how people are approached: with respect, patience, and warmth.
The January 2024 photo set shows volunteers preparing, moving through community spaces, and engaging people directly. The project sits within the foundation's wider community support work, especially welfare outreach for people who may be overlooked in ordinary public life.
What support looked like
The outreach involved volunteer coordination, food distribution, and direct street-level engagement. The aim was not to dramatise hardship, but to meet people with practical help and a sense of dignity.
