Small supplies can make school feel more possible.
On Friday 12 July 2019, Heart to Heart Foundation visited Bodoma M/A Primary School with a practical goal: support pupils with basic stationery. The project was not built around large claims. It was built around the ordinary items that help a child participate in class with more confidence.
The flyer for the visit listed pens, pencils, exercise books, and sharpeners. Those are modest items, but in a school setting they matter. They help pupils write, practise, revise, and stay involved in daily lessons.
What support looked like
The visit brought together donated learning materials, volunteers, and a school community. It reflected the foundation's early belief that service can begin with what is available, when people are willing to organise and show up.
